Most phones now include high quality digital cameras that have the ability to store large quantities of both still and video images, many can connect to the internet for email and web browsing, some can record conversations, all can send SMS text messages.
As a part of any company’s ICT Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) it should be considered good practice to include your mobile phone resources, and the rules that govern their usage.
The risks associated with inappropriate images, abusive messages and data loss across an enterprise network are mirrored and increased by the risks of corporate mobile phones which contain or transmit inappropriate content.
